A little Exposure....woohoo!

Woke up to a couple of emails today from friends saying they had gone to AOL.com and an article about Darius Rucker was featured running some family pictures that I had taken. Check it out here....Pretty COOL!

50 Golden Years....

Saturday night I went over to take some pre-party shots for a friend's parents' 50th Anniversary party. If I look half that good after my husband and I have been together for 50 years....that means he finally learned to just be quiet and do what I say. No really....well....alright, just teasing. These two seemed to be just as smitten with each other as if they had met yesterday.

The pair had two children and between the two children there are 7 grandchildren......6 girls and one, little, lonely, handsome boy....

Florrie and Chip - we sure miss seeing you guys on a regular basis.....it was nice to catch up and meet your family. Here's a little sneak peek.... Happy Anniversary to the cute couple....

Continue to Count Your Blessings....

Back up at the MUSC Children's Hospital today to shoot a couple of cute little munchkins....check out these little feet and count your blessings. Again, I would ask for you to include these little guys and their families in your prayers. The irony of being up there and seeing these little guys who are struggling is....it's one of my favorite places to be.

Happy Birthday!

Someone's little foot has been squished in there....

I'll never get used to it. I love nothing more than to be included on the miracle of birth....getting to document such a special time. It's so exciting, emotional and incredible. I left my morning shoot with the children at the park...got in my car to 4 texts and a couple of messages. Things had progressed for mama a little quicker than anyone had expected....so I headed straight to the hospital. Just in time to capture this sweet, little munchkin enter the world. Congratulations A and D.....you did great this morning and he looks fantastic.

Check out the grin caused from Mama's first kiss.....

Saturday Morning at the Park

Cartwheels and somersaults....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Daddy! He woke up to breakfast in bed!

Crazy I didn't realize how red their hair was until we got into the sun....

...just a little ship in the harbor...

I love the park under the bridge in Mount Pleasant....there is so many places to roam and so much to see. I had a little play date this morning with M&M. Thanks for meeting me there...here's a little peek of our morning....

Prayers for Baby "L"

I was up at the Children's Hospital yesterday afternoon grabbing a couple of pictures of this little guy before he heads into surgery this morning. I promised mom I'd keep baby "L" in my prayers and ask that all of you include him as well. She was excited about today's surgery.....so today, when you are fixing yourself a little lunch - take a second to say a prayer for cute little munchkin baby "L".

Big Birthday celebration at Kiawah

Seriously??....can you take it? Too squishin' cute!

I met up with a fun family this morning out at Kiawah Island. They are all on vacation to celebrate a big birthday - and I still cannot get over how fantastic the matriarch of this family looks....you would never guess the celebration number.

There is one granddaughter - little "M" - so we had a good time with her on the beach. She was ocean bound from the second we stepped on the sand....and LOVES it!

Great little family with lots of laughs from the get go! Here's your sneak peek...

I know, I know...It's been a while

I've been super busy lately and have been lazy about my blog posts. And somewhere in between all the busyness ....I took off for one heck of a girls' weekend in Harbour Island, Bahamas. I'm kind of clogged up at my desk but I'm doing my best to scratch out of it.....so, here I am.

First off, had a really fun bridal shoot but I can't post those until after her wedding...but I will. Totally worth posting - I love it when a bride is willing to "play" with me.....

Then I had a fun rehearsal dinner for Helen and Gaines.....Beautiful night followed by some funny toasts. I could not figure out the center pieces for all the tables. They said things like "Romeo and Juliet" (which I thought I understood) until I saw "Peanut Butter" "B&B" - it wasn't making any sense to me.....until her father explained it in his toasts...it was past pet names of the animal-lover Helen. Love it. Here are some pictures of that fun night at the Confederate Home.

I've also been busy shooting school pictures for a local preschool.....too cute - they've asked that those pictures be passworded so I won't post any of those - but WHOOH - they turned out great and are super cute little munchkins. Maybe I can track down some permission to show a couple.

Father's Day special is right around the corner......I'll keep you posted.....
